每次使用MSN都為了微軟輸入法這東西困擾，常常朋友發MSN給我時都無法打字，只好使用其他輸入法，現在微軟官方終於出修正檔。
W2003 AD升級Win2008 AD步驟

升級步驟：
1、使用備份軟體備份AD伺服器資料，防止升級失敗時系統可以還原
2、升級2003 AD Schema 樹系架構： adprep.exe /forestprep
3、升級2003 AD Schema 網域架構： adprep.exe /domainprep
4、更新網域群組原則： adprep.exe /domainprep /gpprep
5、更新AD對RODC唯讀網域控制站的支持adprep.exe /rodcprep
6、把AD3(Windows 2008)提升為額外的網域控制站。
7、把FSMO主機角色及GC移轉給windows 2008 AD（AD3）伺服器
確認五大角色已成功拿取 , 檢查AD 健康狀態
(1) 執行c:\netdom query fsmo 觀察五大角色是否為 AD3
(2) 執行c:\dcdiag 檢查是否有錯誤訊息
8、對原Windows 2003 AD主機進行降級。
9、提升Windows 2008 AD 網域功能級別。
10、提升Windows 2008 AD 樹系功能級別。
CA ARCserv 11.5 License登錄檔位置

在同一台伺服器重新安裝ARCserv時無法輸入License，至下列位置刪除Products即可。

資料庫權限匯出及匯入

1. 開啟[SQL Server Enterprise Manager], 於欲匯出權限之資料庫上選取[產生SQL指令碼]工作
2. [一般]及[格式化]頁籤保持預設值, 切換至[選項]頁籤
3. 勾選[編寫資料庫使用者及資料庫角色的指令碼]
4. 選取[確定]後, 將指令碼存檔
5. 於欲匯入權限之伺服器上開啟[SQL Query Analyzer], 開啟匯出之指令檔, 確認目地資料庫是否正確, 按下[F5]即可將權限匯入
6. 注意事項:
i. 目地資料庫匯入權限前請先手動建立所有SQL登入帳號, 以免匯入權限指令檔時產生錯誤!
ii. 應用程式角色(Application Role)因含密碼, 無法以此方式匯出, 必需手動建立
iii. 請勿勾選[指令化SQL登入程式碼(Windows 與 SQL Server登入)], 若遇跨資料庫之登入帳號將導致匯入權限指令檔時產生錯誤! 且依此產生之新登入帳號之預設密碼為空白, 需再手動介入修改!
變更本機WSUS更新存放區位置

有位User的Outlook express6一直出現訊息要她壓縮郵件，幫她將郵件分類減少單一檔案大小後還是一直出現，為了減少困擾，只好將此功能取消。

How to identify the error message when Windows continuously reboots with Restore AnyWare

有次要處理BESR異機還原的問題，還原後Windows一直重開機，請教代理商工程師後所得到的答案，順便紀錄一下，誰叫我記性這麼差。
Question/Issue:
You have used the Restore AnyWare option to restore an image to a new hardware environment. When you attempt to
start Windows, a blue screen error message appears briefly and then the computer automatically reboots, preventing you
from being able to read the error message.
Solution:
There are a number of errors that can cause Windows to fail to load. The steps in this document how to describe how to
disable the crash/control auto-reboot function in windows so that the full text of the error message can be read.
To disable Crash/Control Auto-Reboot
Start the computer with the Symantec Recovery Disk
In the Symantec Recovery Environment, move your cursor to the upper left corner of the screen. When the arrow icon
changes to a hand icon, left-click to open a command prompt.
Type regedit and press Enter.
Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Hightlight HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click on File>Load Hive.
In the Load Hive window, browse to C:\<system>\system32\config. <system> will be either Windows or WINNT
depending on OS.
Note: Make sure you are open in C:\. This should come up by default.
In the ‘config’ folder, locate a file named ‘system’ with no extension. Double-click this file.
In the Load Hive dialog box, provide a Key Name. This can be anything simple that you will be able to locate easily later.
The new hive should now appear under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE in the left navigation pane of the regedit screen.
Double-click the new hive to open it.
Under the new hive, locate the ‘Select’ folder and highlight it.
In the right pane, note whether the Data value of the ‘Current’ key ends in ’1′ or ’2′.
Open the ControlSet folder that ends in 001 or 002 as noted in step 12.
Example : If the value of the Current key in step 12 is 1, you would open ControlSet001. This is the default and will be the
case in most instances.
Under ControlSet, open the ‘Control’ folder.
Under Control, open the ‘CrashControl’ folder.
In the right pane, double-click the AutoReboot key.
In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, change the Value Data from ’1′ to ’0′
Click OK
Collapse the Control and ControlSet folders, and highlight the new hive from step 9
Click File>Unload Hive.
Click Yes when prompted to unload the current key and all its subkeys.
Exit the registry editor and the command prompt.
Exit the recovery environment and reboot the computer.
If a STOP error is preventing Windows from loading, it will now remain on the screen so you can record it for
troubleshooting purposes.
